How to make aloo tikki ?
Aloo tikki is a popular North Indian snack that is made with boiled potatoes and spices. Here's an easy recipe for making aloo tikki:
Ingredients:
4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.
2. Divide the mixture into small balls and shape them into flat discs or patties.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the patties and fry them until they are golden brown on both sides.
4. Remove the patties from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
